A Little Story Of Not A Food Traveler

Hello guys, my name is Alfa. You can call me gembul.  In this blog I will share my experience in kitchen, sharing recipe and review food. This blog is my new platfrom.  One day i want to be a food stylist, food photographer, food blogger, food writter and  pastry chef. I know, It's a big dream.. I think it is so fucking hard to achieve it.  So, I start to set  all my dreams in this blog.  FYI..   I am  doing a little project to write a cookbook about..... its still secret.. LOL

In senior high school, I was not stupid student.   I never be a top 10 in my class. I was so bad in academic and suport. But I know one thing that  love, it's cooking. I have a dream, after graduation from senior high school, I want to learn in culinary school.   I asked to my parent, "can I learn in culinary school?". And my parent did not agree with my dream. Really, so sad. My dream could not come true.

Finally, I learn japanese language in Semarang State Univercity. In the final semester,  I have a lot of free time.  So, after I do my thesis , I don't know what must to do. When I scroll up my instagram timeline, I get a job vacancy  be a pastry helper. Oh my god, at that time  I need money to buy netbook, because my netbook was  error. I need new netbook to do my thesis.  And I try that chance to work in kitchen as pastry helper. And I don't have experience work in kitchen. I thought I was not accepted to work there. But i try it.  I tried sending a job application letter via email. The future who know!

I  was accepted as pastry helper. And you know what the things that i have to do ? Make some cake, entremet, dessert  and bread. Oh my god !  i don't have any pastry skills before. At the first time I failed to make cake and macaroon. It is so hard to me. But in one mounth  I can make all cake , dessert, entrement and bread by my self . I don't even know whether it was right or no, but I fell I can be fast learner. And I feel happier when I make a cake. May be it is my passion. Because I know making cake is no easy but 1 try so hard and never give up. 

Since i work in kitchen , i can learn many things. Acctualy, not only cooking, but also more than that . I can meet peoples who different caracter, passion and dream. I know in the detail  process how to make a food, from ingredient to put on plate. It needs long process to make a delicious food.

I love food so much, and food is my life. 

Before I eat  food, I always capture  take a that food and then I upload in my social media. Because  I captured so much food, I decided to  make a new account in instragram.  That account is @notafoodtraveler. Why do i use that name? I don't know why. LOL. It's just spontant i creat that name. I capture and try  street food to restourant. That account for uploading my food picture. And until right now my follower is 1k. Oh my God. Unbeliveable! At the first time I am not  confident to start this platfrom. Because I  just used my smartphone to take a picture. When there  is a bazzar food in one of mall in semarang. I meet @kakilimasemarang and @akucintmakanansemarang. They are famous foodgrammer in semarang. I have a chance to talk with them at that time, and they start by using a mobile phone also. I learnt lots of things. And you know what ? my confident is levelling up right now. 

 I trying to strart this blog because  one day I want to be a food blogger like @eatandtreats and @kevindrasoematri . They are my idol food blogger. And  the purpose of  why I creat this blog is not only  to be a food blooger, this blog  is my place to learn how to be food stylist and food photografer.  I also want to make cook book and to be a food writer is one of my big dream.. chef pastry? I know it's so hard to achive that  big dream but i will do my best!!

Food is not my passion. Food is my life and  I am happy with my life!!
